John Tanko called meeting to order of 29 of us and looked for PTR designee. In Malcolm's absence, Al Shirley led the pledge and Frank Benadaret shared a thought about congratulating all aged school graduates that we come in contact with.
Many visiting Rotarians including Leah Wright from Central Marin, Traci and Cory from Novato, Bob from Foster City, Peter Legarre from SF#2 and Kim from San Bruno
Visitor Barbara one of Winston Woods' friends was there.

Holly Axtell shared article on the monies from tsunami that were spent on 25 schools being built in Sri Lanka. She also shared her delicious smeilling oregano fresh from the garden to all takers.
Martha Heidinger shared a letter from Mike Grant about upcoming celebration at Camp Soulajule on July 21st

Allen Ng reminded us of June 9th Nicholas Green awards starting at 10:45am
John Tanko was unable to disguise his delight at being in Hawaii next week and Al Shirley graciously accepted the task of leading our group.
Keith Axtell shared that his concern about the contributions to the Rotary Foundation were unfounded as little MER is now in second place in per capital giving
Jane Hulbert shared that District 5150 is at 115% of annual polio giving
Mark Shirley thanked all 15 members  for coming to past Sat. meeting

Good Times

Marsha Solvason who admits to always having fun, shared her many events including girlfriends, high school buddies and of course grandchildren.
Curt Rocca shared his delightful past weekend festivities at the family compound in ClearLake.
Eiko commented on the fun the large group of MERs enjoyed going to Malcolm Cohen's production of Cactus Flower.
Bill McNichols who returned after 4 weeks gave his travelogue on all the places he had visited. He will not be asked to do any promotions for Costa Rican visitors bureau
Leah may be asked to however and cited their 90% literacy rate and her delight at seeing the rare quetzal bird.
Marsha presented a $1000 check to Peter Legarre who is the team leader for upcoming  Rotoplast in Egypt which led us to the delightful and informative travelogue on Egypt and Jordan.

Holly and Keith Axtell entertained us in their Egyptian garb and Sheik Keith modeled head gear.
